What a trip!
2 1/2 hour flight that started at 6AM, I got to Houston, where there was an hour layover.
Then followed a 7 hour flight to Honolullu, followed by another hour layover.
The last leg was a 7 hour flight too Guam, where we arrived to find that we'd been given a room with one bed. Changed rooms and collapsed into bed after about 20 hours from leaving home.

Our hotel, The Santa Fe, has apparently changed hands. It looks great from the outside, and is right on the beach...a real bargain for less than $100 a night, including taxes. The beach is lovely white powder sand, and shallow for a long way out; there is an outlying reef over which the ocean breaks, so the water here is calm and warm. The pool overlooks the ocean too!
The next door restaurant, Shirley's , has the most amazing international breakfast menu, serves wonderful coffee, and gives enormous servings for a great price.

After a 2 hour nap, we're ready to go down to Chamorro Village for the weekly Night Fair, where there are food,, crafts, and who knows what.
